The costs of cross-border mediation are €1390,- per parent. This includes nine hours of mediation, the preparation, completion and drafting of the agreement. If you are eligible for financed legal aid, you can request an addition for mediation. This is also possible if you are staying abroad.
Additional costs may be charged for the child conversation, regardless of the addition. The costs for the child interview depend on the number of children. The Mediation Bureau assumes that parents divide the costs of the child conversation halfway, unless parents explicitly agree on a different division of these costs.
The invoice sent by the Mediation Bureau must be paid to the Mediation Bureau prior to the mediation.
