Just like with Luuk, one of your parents may want to move to another country with you. This can be a lot of fun. But, of course, can also be very difficult. Your parents both want to see you as much as possible and, of course, you want to see them too. If they live in different countries, this becomes more difficult. Usually, both your parents have to agree ont the move to another country. But they may be unable to decide together where you should live. Still, this is a decision they have to make together and they can't make you decide.
What if your parents can't work it out together?
Someone else may help your parents come up with a solution together. This could be a 'mediator', for example. He or she will talk with your parents trying to solve it. Of course, it is also important how you feel about the move. It can be difficult to talk about this with your parents. This is why the mediator may want to talk to you about what you think.
